DFS pitchers for May 9

J.A. Happ

We’re diving into the Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) craze and will be bringing you the two pitchers we’re using in Draft Kings with other possibilities as well.

J.A. Happ: The Mariners lefty was hammered for six runs in six innings last time out, but he still has a 3.51 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. Happ is in the streamer class for matchups like this, at home against the A’s. At the cheap price of $7,200, it allowed us the cap space to play stars like Miguel Cabrera, Brian Dozier and Mookie Betts.

Dallas Keuchel: The Astros lefty is still being priced reasonably ($8,600 at Angels) considering the ridiculous numbers he’s putting up – 3-0, 0,80 ERA, 0.76 WHIP. There has to be some regression coming at some point, but the Angels’ one-man offense in a pitcher’s park is an unlikely place for that to happen.
