We’re diving into the Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) craze and will be bringing you the two pitchers we’re using in Draft Kings with other possibilities as well.

Jason Hammel: The Cubs righty is averaging 19.6 fantasy points yet is priced at just $8,700 for a start at San Diego. Hammel is tough on right-handed hitters, which is what dominates the Padres lineup. He has a tough opposing pitcher in James Shields, but brings a 3-1 record with a 3.11 ERA and 0.99 WHIP into the matchup.

Trevor Bauer: The Indians strikeout machine (9.5 K/9) is a bargain at $6,800 in Chicago to face a White Sox team that was dominated by Corey Kluber on Monday. In his last start, Bauer answered a Kluber gem with a 10-strikeout performance of his own against the Cardinals. Bauer’s a bit risky, but his price allowed us to spend some money on hitters like Dee Gordon, Josh Donaldson and Stephen Vogt.

We’re stacking from a trio of our favorite matchups: Phillies left-handed hitters vs. Chad Bettis at Coors Field, A’s lefties vs. Roberto Hernandez at Houston and Marlins lefties vs. Jeremy Hellickson in Miami.
