We’re diving into the Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) craze and will be bringing you the two pitchers we’re using in Draft Kings with other possibilities as well.

Michael Wacha: This is just a slam-dunk matchup against the Phillies and rookie Severino Gonzalez – too clear of a shot at big points not to pass up despite how popular it will be. The price of $8,300 is almost too good to be true, a better value than spending big on Clayton Kershaw ($12,400) or Madison Bumgarner ($10,000) when they have to face each other. There are some terrible pitchers to run stacks on today, so you’ll want to free up as much money as possible for bats.

J.A. Happ: This is the best value going at just $6,300 for the Mariners lefty with a 2.61 ERA against a slumping Rangers squad sending Ross Detwiler and his 10.95 ERA against them. Happ has had success against all the Rangers hitters except Prince Fielder, who could still be neutralized by the lefty-lefty matchup. Saving money on Happ allowed us to load up with the likes of Joey Votto, Dee Gordon, Nelson Cruz, Billy Hamilton, Bryce Harper and Giancarlo Stanton. And there’s plenty more where they came from.

We’re stacking with Mariners against Detwiler, Tigers vs. Mike Pelfrey, Diamondbacks vs. Kyle Kendrick, Padres vs. Roberto Hernandez and Cardinals vs. Severino Gonzalez.
